Hi and welcome.

I'm Patrick, a 36 year old maker from a small village in the middle of the Netherlands. 

I have a deep passion for everything handmade, from cheese to knives and everything inbetween.

I'm a former chef that made a career switch in 2020 to become an Artisan cheesemaker. I found a small cheesemaker with huge ambition to conquer the cheese world and its so much fun to be a part of that journey.

In my spare time I love the art of making hand forged kitchen knives. 

As you might be able to tell from my portfolio, I draw huge inspiration out of the Japanese kitchen knife world and I would describe my style as rough/industrial with a high end fit and finish. I like my knives to be used daily and not to end up in a display cabinet somewhere.

All my knives are hand forged from high end carbon steels and made by me. And all my san mai is made in house.

I don't take custom orders because I've found my knives turn out better when I'm making them when and how I want to and don't have any time pressure.

All in its own pace.
